Manage patients having acute medical emergencies, including respiratory distress, chest pain, altered mental status, and traumatic injuries. Stabilize patients in the field and transport to an appropriate hospital.

HAZMAT Incidents

Respond to hazardous materials incidents in the town of Boylston and the neighboring Wachusett Reservoir. Contain spills to prevent further contamination, and limit the impact to life and property.

Fire Emergencies

Respond to various types of fires, including vehicle fires, brush fires, and structure fires. Extinguish the fire, while limiting damage to property. Prevent loss of life by rescuing those threatened by the fire.

Boylston's 45 Firefighter/EMTs are lead by a team of 1 chaplain & 7 officers: 1 Chief, 1 Deputy Chief, 1 Captain, and 4 Lieutenants.
